This treatment involves microneedling combined with pure pharmacological retinol.  The retinol is essentially needled into the skin using a microneedling device. Microneedling the product into the skin makes it more effective than just putting it onto the skin topically because microneedling allows it to penetrate deeper layers of the skin.

The treatment is ideal for hyperpigmentation, acne-prone skin, advanced anti-ageing requirements and scarring.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

You can still go about your normal daily activities the next day. Your skin is red and patchy immediately after but returns to normal within a few hours, but the level and length of redness will depend on your skin.

You will also start to experience mild flaking/ peeling three days after the treatment and done by day 7. Your skin may also feel dry and sensitive for a few days. It is imperative to use a good moisturiser, wear sunscreen daily  and stay out of the sun for at least 4-5 days.
